I was about to ask the very same question! I am Australian and my tourist visa runs out early Jan, looking at getting a non-O visa early March so need to do a couple of extensions. I just want to ask though, I heard the crossing at Mae Sai is only 500 baht, but to extend from immigration in Thailand is 1900 baht. Is this correct? or would Mae Sai be 1900 baht too? I have a tribe of children so not looking forward to paying 1900 baht each child.
