Use an agent, saves so much effort also the person who needs the account opening needs to be the one opening it. Exceptional circumstances may be looked at but on a Tourist visa almost impossible. Approx 4,500 to 5,000 baht.to open an account using an agent.

5th year for our marriage extension, every year a visit to the house ( same house ) Never a problem with the house visit. The office paperwork is a challenge most years but not impossible and never a brown envelope involved

Non O visa here in Thailand, 800,000 in the Bank for Retirement Visa pay someone to do the 90 day reporting almost as good as the Elite but the 800,000 is always yours. Don’t waste 600,000.

Lived here more than 10 years Visa issues can always be sorted here in this wonderful Country.

This happened to me the funds transferred from U.K. to Kasicorn then to Bangkok bank. I printed my statement from Wise which showed a payment to Bangkok bank via Kasicorn. Immigration accepted that. Kasicorn wanted to charge me 500 baht for a letter to say the same thing as my Wise statement. The wise statement shows a transfer from your home country into Kasicorn then the exact amount is transferred to Bangkok bank.

Living on £1200 per month and buying a house living here in Thailand can be as expensive or inexpensive as you make it. If I lived at my wife’s farm we could live on 40,000 baht per month easy.
