Greg Jorgensen. I don't need to overthink anything as I'm here on a 1 year extension to my visa. I do however care about others getting fed incorrect information. It's perfectly possible to get stopped by law enforcement routinely and ask about your status and place of accommodation. They sometimes will call your accommodation to check you stay there. It happens!

Go check that on the Immigration Webb site and you'll find it's a max of 5,000.

From what I've read many times, the guest has 24 hours from arriving to ensure the TM 30 is done if not staying at a registered place of accommodation who does it for you. According to Immigration Webb site,failing to do this can result in the Alien being find up to 5.000 thb. I'd just stayin a hotel,safe too.

. It's not maybe,it's a fact the tm 30 must be filed but many AirBnBs don't want to for obvious reasons and can easily tell you they have. If you're caught it's your responsibility.

But do you have an onward ticket as your airline may refuse to board you without one.just as airlines to the Philippines do?

Only if it's registered.

The only similarities are that tourists can use it. I prefer to avoid tourists getting confused and thinking they can just go to an adjacent country and get one as they're not the same.

. I actually stated what it was,and quite clearly I thought, I provided further advice also,as it's entirely different from a TV both in what it allows the bearer to do,and in applying for it,as it cannot be obtained in adjacent countries unless you have residency there.

It's multiple and available only in your country of legal residency. A different and more complicated application applies.

A so called excellent agent in Penang told me after reading my Embassy confirmed paper work, that I wouldn't get a NON O. Went to consulate next day myself and picked up NON O next day. My advice, do it yourself.
