Mick Schumann incorrect. It still belongs to you but you have effectively loaned it to the bank to use.

They have no right to prevent you access to your money UNLESS you signed something from the beginning, saying that it was for a fixed term.

Tamera Stranan i think that a lot of people do not understand the whole purpose of this site.

It is for asking advice and hopefully getting some valuable information.

Trolls......if ya don't like the question being asked just scroll past instead of leaving rude or negative comments that are no use at all to the OP

Tamera Stranan don't worry about the trolls. Emeraldwolf is on so many posts and never has anything positive to add..

Must have such a boring life that he cant offer anything positive.

The real question should have been ," had you paid or not ". If so then Will Richardson above is correct.

GentleGoose6420 you apply for the Non O immigrant visa while in your own country.

You enter Thailand, take your visa and passport to the bank and open up an account and deposit the 400,000baht.

Leave it there for 2 months untouched.

After you have used 60 days of your 90 day Non O visa take all documentation with you to immigration and apply for an " extension to stay based on marriage"

I have just done it.
