or get a Residency Certificate, no need to get document from embassy

can get this certificate directly from immigration or pay a bit more and have an agent get it for you in a shorter period of time.

happy u liked my spelling error-- yes, the internet can be contradictory, off topic, not really, unless u don't know how to control a search; ambiguous, not really, unless u choose to accept ambiguous, just keep searching until u find more clear and specific answers. Regardless, if u think this group's mishmash of replies are better resources than a well done search of official and reputable sources, then that tells me all I need to know about you.

not at all-- Google you would find the official requirements listed accurately on various official and non- official websites, and articles discussing the current situation and what impact it has had on DLT hours and requirements. here thre are a wide variety of comments that range from completely accurate to hardly accurate at all, and everything in between. If u really new nothing, and didnt reseaech the official sites, how would you know which comments to accept or reject? As in most subjects, this one about dlt and licenses, so many jump to help and contradict one another, it's easy to be misled. But, if others are happy to do a poster's research for them, accurate or not, more power to them.

Chiang mai has its "smokey season" , but otherwise it's pretty good-- today very nice, especially after last night's rain.

bkk has air quality issues all year round, made worse in recent months when they got hit with smoke from burning as well.

I think the previous tourist stats that ost visit bkk, at least as starting or ending of a tour package-- for most tourists who have never been to Thailand, bkk remains in their minds as an exotic place.
