Leanne if you wish to stay longer than 60 days again might be a good idea to get a single entry tourist visa while your out of country. Can extend that again to give you 90 days.
Well I leaving on the 4th August so it's expected by me given the conversation with them a month or so back. You would want to be sure your getting an extension tho or it's a quick unplanned trip outta thailand to get another Visa or exempt entry.
There was no mistake i dont think as this is what they alson told me a month ago. The boss come seen me they hadn't looked at my previous extension on the next page of my passport and thought I was well overstayed.
Was a tense few minutes while I worked out what was going on and showed them my previous extension. Was all smiles after that. Phew!
What visa are you on? It's my understanding tourist visa holders are 1000 and others 500.
I took my

Thai daughter and partner and still 1000. I am on a SETV. This was a topic of discussion in Korat expat group and others commented that tourist visas holders are 1000 and other visas holders are 500 or even free if you go to police station.
My reasons were to obtain a Thai driver licence and I was successful doing that last week. Now I am fully covered by insurance in the event of a accident. Well worth the 1000baht in the long run.
Was only 205baht for drivers licence. No extra charges there.
I just went to local clinic and got the cert yesterday for 60baht. Blood pressure test and wieght, height and pulse. They asked my partner if i had any chest surgury and that was it. About 5 mins. Just take along your passport.
Take along two photos also. I got a certificate of residence today. Required 2 photos same size as you use for extension of visa. They pit a stamp over the photo.
