Hello. Just been attempting to get an extension of Non O for 1 year based on Thai child. Visited immigration office 10 days ago to check documents in order. All was correct except some photos and google map print out of address. I was told by IO

Returned today with witnesses to find out the paperwork I provided for legitimate Thai child needed to be court certified copies and less than a week old. Also need to go Amphoe office to get a copy of witnesses from them.

Just got the copies now and heading back.

So anyone unaware of these requirements take heed. Save yourself the driving about with witnesses on the day.

i would have to agree seen alot of upset people today. Would be alot simpler if had a clear printout with all these extra requirements. The printout i was given had none of this written on it. Just trying to stay calm hopefully things get on the move when we get back. I under a tree outside chok chai district office. Waiting for witnesses to print blue books.

Glad its cold season.

Hope your mate got sorted in the end
