So you're saying I could book a refundable ticket from my home country to Thailand and send that to the current active application? Can't they see that I am already out of the country in Indonesia?

And let's say that the application gets approved, there's still a chance that the immigration officer in Thailand will question why I'm coming from Indonesia rather than my home country?
