i have not, but i just booked a fully refundable flight through united. it is very expensive but definitely worth it for the guarantee:)

When applying for the thailand pass/ visa i see that you need very specific insurance and it recommends AXA. Has anyone gotten away with using something like World Nomads or is that not accepted?
