its online with the app info. I got approved in 4 working days between holidays in HCMC with 6 months bank statements, client contracts, etc

Anonymous participant 534 I agree that its annoying but its a process that the government has clear instructions on when applying.

I got approved first try in HCMC because had a tab with the official rules and i also saved a bunch of posts related to my type of DTV and had it open.

It took me about an hour to submit (i triple checked and had a friend proofread it specifically so i didn’t have to re-pay the app fee)

I am writing this cover letter to apply for the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) under the (insert your DTV subcategory).

I am applying for the DTV because (Insert a couple of reasons why you want to be in Thailand) *I was told the reasons don’t make a difference, but I wanted to cover all my bases so I stated some of my exact reasons to avoid additional doc requests*

I meet the financial requirement, holding a minimum bank balance of 500,000 Thai Baht for multiple consecutive months, as evidenced by the attached bank statements.

*I gave 6 months of statements and I advise you do the same*

*This next part is subjective to your application, USE YOUR BEST JUDGEMENT*

To support my application, I have attached: bank statements showing sufficient funds for the DTV requirements, my company registration, client contracts (some customer names are hidden/redacted for customer privacy), and a letter of recommendation from my company’s Head of Human Resources that states I am allowed to work remotely in Thailand.
