when we got our extension, just before our 60days were up, for the extra 30 days , it was stamped as from the date , we were there at the office!

But luckily now we have our LTR visas.

I’d get it at least 3-4 days before, your 60 days are up, incase of mistakes, and you have to go back.

BUT …. it will be granted on that day if all ok , so your 30 day starts on that very day ok .

What Graham has shown you is correct take cash, they will only accept the cash.

You might also on the bottom of the form, to save time when at the counter , write your gps coordinates, of where you are staying/living, as they will ask you, to open your phone on maps , and show them, also your phone number . (Remember to take the TM30).

You don’t need to pay an agent, it’s so simple , check where the office is, if in your town, as you may need to go to a different area, as it might be somewhere else in a nearby town.

1st boarder run you’ll be ok.

We went by air, for a weekend, then returned, my friend went with a company in a coach, for a few hours, then returned.

Should IMO stop you , they will give you ‘words of advice’, on getting a visa, which you are doing.

They are more interested in stopping the ones who abuse the system, by doing this more than once.

I was stopped on my 1st boarder run, as soon as I said my visa was being processed, showed them my lawyer’s letter, confirming they were doing it, IMO was fine with me.

My husband was at a different counter, nothing said to him at all.

So don’t worry.

LTR visa , we just got ours, 10 years.
