Kasikorn Bank is the place to go. I just opened a Bank Account with only paspoort, marriage certificate, non O visa 90 days. I had the letter from immigration but they told me they dont needed that.

Opened in ubon ratchatani, phibun mangsahan last week.

All depends on where you apply for a Bank account. I did 2 days ago with kasikorn Bank with minimal paperwork needed. No need for any paper from immigration. Only my paspoort, my non o visa 90 days and marriage certificate..

i opened yesterday one myself with kasikorn Bank. Some bank still open bank accounts for foreigners without much problems.

Paspoort, visa, marriage certificate and proof of adress.

the law say that he can not be a "cashier" because that is only for Thai people. The law say nothing about cooking food for her husband.

he can "work" help his wife on her farm. But he can't touch or accept/handle the money when someone buy vegetables in front of their farm etc. The wife can only touch the money and also the money from the farm can not be transferred to his bank account.
