I use both fine and have for the last 10 years this way, never an issue. I even went into the bank so they are aware I'm over here most of the year so there are no issues when using my card.

never really noticed. Would think if it was just a money thing, they would have escorted her to one or asked to see her banking though.

or more enforced then. For a first time tourist, many wouldn't be aware of this. Although not letting her get cash from the ATM probably means there were other reasons entry was denied.

You should be ok. Immigration is closed today and they sometimes give you a pass if your last day lands on one of these days.

its just the timing i was worried about. I don't want to be here too long. The price if about the same to get a fast track as using an agency once in Thailand.

For getting one here (UK) would i just apply as normal and send my old one off? They normally snip the corner on the old passport, would this affect anything? or just take both with me and had both in at immigration on arrival? Sorry for the question overload.
