You should go for soft power option, much easier and you won't have to worry about it. Fight EVO360 Thailand - Thepprasit Boxing Stadium great gym in Jomtien beach area has all the documents delivered same day, very knowledgeable about DTV and easy communication.

for Muay Thai, not sure for cooking ... Just in case. They have all the proper documents and sent same day, 6 months course is 20k baht. Not sure if your daughter will need to be enrolled in a course, possibly just the primary depending on age I expect. Anyway they are very familiar with DTV and good to work with.

usa embassy always do service "Notary Public" everywhere in the world, but not sure Thailand will accept it.

I think you must notary in USA embassy and also marry again in thailand for ceremony and photos. But not sure ... Thailand should accept the marriage license from USA if it is certified by the USA embassy.

Anonymous participant you mentioned a UK business, at no point did you say you were actively working online. Many people being rejected for workcation if not actually working online with pay stubs and tax returns. Soft power much easier and don't need to show income, just money in the bank.

Anonymous participant no clue, we are all learning and Thailand is constantly changing.

You'll need your funds for the visa in a personal account checking or savings only - nothing of an investment style. You'll want to do the soft power route Muay Thai or cooking classes as your not a digital nomad. Fight EVO360 Thailand - Thepprasit Boxing Stadium is familiar with the dtv, sends all documents same day. Good luck.

not sure, I think it would depend on the primary DTV. But they will most likely be tagged like mine in the "non work" category.

I asked at the border when I activated my DTV, as mine says clearly on it - not allowed to work. She said the original ones didn't specify if it was soft power or working visa. Now they adapted it.
