at Land borders, a Thai ID card is okay. However at airports she will be asked to show a passport. Same as when checking in to the flight - the airline wants to see a passport since from Thailand to Cambodia it is an international flight. With a Thai ID card a Thai person can only fly inside Thailand

with her Thai ID card, she cannot spend more than 3 days in Cambodia. She needs her passport for an extended holiday. I am amazed and shocked at the many BS answers you received here

these were always the requirements for an application to the Non-Imm-O/A Longstay Visa. . . . . . . . . . for the application to the Non-Imm-O retirement visa, they never ask for such a requirement

open the Website of the Royal Thai Consulate Savannakhet. The "multi entry" Non-O is NOT listed but available at the consulate. The requirements are the same as for the 90 days Non-O, however the fee is 5000.- THB. Every copy must be signed by the Thai wife in BLUE ink! . . . . . . . . .Required documents

Original and a copy of passport or travel document (must not expire within 180 days and contain at least two complete empty visa pages)

Two (2) photos of the applicant (3.5 x 4.5 cm, taken within 6 months)
