You should apply for a Non-Immigrant O visa first, before you go to Thailand. It takes about 3 weeks.

If the documentation is all ok, you will probably get your visa when your in Thailand.

Just book a short trip out of Thailand and re-enter using your visa to activate it.

After all the previous comments / advice and experiences of the other members, you’re right.

I will be able to keep my work number which I also use as my personal number, change it to an eSIM, (I need to get it authorised) and then get a new Thai sim when I’m there, and use both. 👍
