I wanted to provide you with an update; the status has just changed to "In Process." Your application status may have been updated too. I've been monitoring mine regularly.
To obtain the residence certificate required for renewing the initial 2-year driving license in Bangkok, which immigration office should we visit? Chaeng Wattana or IT Square Laksi?
, I’m in a similar situation as you. It has been four days since they received the renewal package via mail. According to the instruction webpage, we should receive our new and old passports back within 5-6 weeks. Let’s hope for the best and a quicker processing period.
Interesting! I used the QR prompt pay payment method and didn’t receive any email. However, I printed the invoice I found on the order history page. And I agree that AI might very well change the process in ten years!
I’m curious, did you staple the four corners of the photo onto DS84 and include another two photos with your package? Also, did you notice that the actual DS84 form is the last two pages of the 6-page PDF? The first four pages are instructions. Did you submit all six pages or just the last two? Thanks!
But once you pay the 100 Baht for the Courier Pass Back, Thailand Post Mart does not send any product purchase confirmation email. Instead, we have to take a screenshot of the order placed from the Order History tab and print the screenshot with invoice number THP visible. You may receive a 100 Baht payment confirmation email from your bank, but as far as I know, ThailandPostMart does not send any.
Hi Anthony, when you enter Thailand on the 30-day visa exemption, you need to go to the immigration office at least 15 days before the expiry date of your visa exemption(W.30) if you want to apply for the 90 days Non-O Visa based on marriage. So if you just went today (26 January), you are about a week late already and may not be able to apply for the 90 days Non-O Visa. To apply for the initial 90-day Non-O visa based on marriage, there is no seasoning requirement of the 400k (however, it needs to be there in your Thai bank account). And later, after about 2 months, if you decide to apply for the 1-year extension based on marriage, the 400k must be seasoned for 2 months. If I am wrong, I am sure someone will correct me.
From what I learned from this group, you DO NOT need to season funds when you apply for Non Immigrant O Visa. However the fund needs to be there in Thai bank account (without seasoning) under your name. So maybe you can just deposit the funds on the same week as you apply for O? The 2 months seasoning is a requirement when you request for 1 year extension. Hopefully someone will correct me, if i am wrong. Good luck!
