because you need 3 months remai ing on you Thai visa when you exit Spain!

Ive had a non 0 visa for about 15 years and it expires on 1 November. I need to go to Spain in September and would have to get a Spanish visa which can take up to 45 days. I can renew my visa 45 days before expiry date which could be 15 september but then would not have enough time to apply for my Spanish visa as i would be leaving in early October!
