Hi dita as mentioned it’s teaching that requires the degree however there are also multiple occupations that are protected for Thai nationals only so it really does depend on what your experience is in order to have a chance of getting a job here over a Thai national
Hi Bertie. Depending on your age and criteria you may be eligible for an ltr visa which is by far the best visa to have if you qualify.
I would get in touch with baan Thai immigration solutions visa agent in Bangkok and speak to mark and tell him Neil asked you to get in touch and his team after you google and see if you fulfill the criteria.
The 2 main hospitals down there are Bangkok hospital and memorial both very good. Don’t forget Bangkok is only 2 hours away should you decide to choose one of the ones there like bumrungrad etc
As for health insurance providers dm me and I can help you as not all of the insurers deal with all the hospitals down there as direct reimbursement, I’m an independent financial adviser with 25 years uk experience and can help you with all that do not go to a tied brokerage who can sell a few.
Correct with the buying of a condo and not a villa it’s down to owning the land which you have to be either Thai national or have citizenship after permanent residency.
The ltr visa is by far the best one available now. No comparison against the elite. Speak to Mark and his team at baan Thai Immigration services in Bangkok excellent and will get you through it no problem at all. Tell Mark Neil from Melbourne capital group gave you his name.
Also contact a qualified financial adviser as there are regulated investment solutions for an Australian under certain circumstances that should they return or oz make their investments tax free under Australian law
Using an agent is fine unless it’s one of the ones you had from here where they say you don’t have to attend to get your license etc. that’s a scam and totally illegal and if you did that then that license card you have isn’t valid at all.
is absolutely right. If possible open it where you love the system here is even the same bank but different branches will treat you completely differently they’re almost run like completely different businesses so absolutely save yourself a lot of hassle and stress and open where you live if possible
