you are no longer required to go there in person, this has been the case since July when they commenced with E-Visa.

Also if you are not a resident of NSW you have to use the E-Visa site which goes via the Canberra embassy.

As
@Brandon ***********
stated, the NSW consulate is only for Thai residents.

I didn't think I was trying to make it difficult, I don't have $800K lying around, that is the equivalent of $30K AUD. I do however meet the income criteria with my super, the only issue I have is proving I do earn that much as I don't get a fortnightly statement just money deposited into my Australian bank account. All I can do is download a statement stating the amount I get paid each fortnight, and of course submit my bank statements, I am able to get these witnessed by a Justice of the Peace, but not sure if that would be sufficient.

thanks for that. Sorry for my ignorance.

Do you know of a reliable agent in Bangkok ?
Robert *******
Can somebody point me in the direction of an agent in Bangkok that can help me get OA visa and a bank account.

DM me if you can’t advertise here.

Okay I understand I got my terminology wrong.

I will be coming in on a 30 day entry, not Visa. Thanks everybody for correcting me and the advice you have provided.

Can somebody please tell me what paperwork I need to take to immigration ?
