Metv is a proper visa. Classed a tourist visa same as the dtv, if it's for 6 months, he should be able to come and go as he pleases for 6 months that's the point of it. Clearly IO was female 😂 Ive never got grilled my male one yet , always female ones that questions you like a criminal recently

the old friends story, and wouldn't someone married be on a different visa, why need a dtv tourist visa, anyhow I've been in Thailand 3 years and have a bank account but no longer use it as don't trust it to be frozen at any time. Dtv you simply can't get a bank account on it anymore

negative, dtv is tourist, you may have bank account from years ago or with agent but it's not allowed

correct any income in Thailand as foreigner requires a work permit

can rent an actual place but can't rent out a property you own. That's classed as Thai income which legally need a work permit, this has been declined for that reason for sure

Bangkok bank has been shit since a year ago with wise, it's lucky dip on the day on when you'll receive, other Thai banks is more reliable for instant transfers
