Im a retired plumber and I have did many things for several people, the key is dont charge money for it. Never had a problem. It keeps my mind and body active.
I am not sure why but it only takes a few days to adjust going to Thailand but when I go home (19 hours flight time) it takes a couple weeks to get back to normal.
Out of the last 10 times I sent money, only once did it take longer than a minute. Thru a full yr there are times it took longer, a few times it took a day. I send money to my account every month.
I have never paid an agent to do anything I could do myself. Visa, bank account, driver's license. Simple things are not hard to do. Now if I get deported, hook me up
I have always had a tourist visa until this year, I broke my neck and wasn't sure I could travel, went to Cabo San Lucas for one month and applied for tourist visa but was traveling to Thailand in one week so they didn't issue the Visa because you need 15 days to travel. Agent questioned me but let me in on visa exempt. I have to get 30 more days at immigration then leave the country for several days and re-enter for final month. Hopefully that will be okay.
Have never used an agent for anything but if I have a problem with immigration I will. Not sure what they charge but renewing a visa is easy yet I had a friend pay 5000 baht to do something I did.. Immigration employees are very helpful.
I actually left my bank book at home and the ATM ate my ATM card, they ended up opening a new account for me, it didn't seem difficult.I did that yesterday's.
