At the end of the day that’s exactly what we are Visitors who spend money

Sadly sometimes not made very welcome 🙏

It really dose seem like Thai government dose not want English or western tourists to come It’s all very confusing maybe we need to buy Indian passports then we can come and stay forever

But no one has explained the

60 day entry. 30 day extension 7 day extension then leave Thailand I understand

But when are you allowed to come back to Thailand after your 97 days

Dose it reset after you leave the kingdom or do you have to wait if so how long before you can come back

Sadly the whole immigration system seems to be to be a mess no one knows what’s going on total disaster for western tourists

No idea I will look at where I want to live 1st. Then decide if I want to stay there. So many other countries to choose from might take a look around before deciding I’m sad about Thailand seems the government is more interested in the plague of rats called Indian s than real tourists or residents

This whole visa situation is so confusing no wonder so many westerners are not coming to Thailand add that to the idiotic ban on afternoon drinking

Then once the damage had been done more westerners decided to no come to Thailand they reversed the rule

Again wonderful Thai logic

As far as I and so many read it 97 days in one year is all your allowed to be in Thailand

Bars restaurants massage shops everywhere not many western farang but lots and lots of Indian 🇮🇳 😭😭😭

I will leave Thailand soon to go to live in Vietnam as we are welcome there and it’s so much cheaper

Sadly so many friends are also leaving Thailand
