My current visa exemption (45 days) expires on May 5. Does it mean that, if I go on May 6, I get a 30-day extension from May 6 (so 1 extra day) and the overstay stamp with fine waived?

I can’t find the information, is there a limit to the number of 6month METVs someone can get? (In 1 year, or in a longer period?)

that's quite intense.. I wonder if someone had the same experience in other arrival cities (Phuket/Krabi). That's very good to know anyway, thanks a lot for sharing!

thanks a lot for your reply! Indeed, it seems a bit tricky. I might stay away from Thailand for a while (maybe a few months) to avoid this discussion with the Immigration officer.

Did you say that you stayed for that long because you couldn't travel somewhere else? Or just tourism?

Thanks a lot, very clear.

Where can I find the link for the METV application? (I usually use the normal application with the French embassy, as I am French and the process is easier)

Side question: if I make an appointment, should I go early to pick up and fill up the forms?

I have forms from Pai IO but they won't work in BKK I believe. Thanks!
