How long does it take for a DTV dependent visa to be approved from the Thai consulate in New York?

No one can tell you that for certain. Different consulates move at different speeds and each case moves at its own pace. Having said that, 4 weeks is probably a good measure to go by. Set your sights on the 4 week mark and be pleasantly surprised when you get it sooner. Good luck!
