Yeah, that’s what I was talking about. Does not apply to me with a non-B multiple. I should be able to go to Myanmar or elsewhere and back everyday if I wanted to!

Nope, not from Surat Thani. They don’t have flights to KL anymore since February this year and even with those flights I wouldn’t have been able to come back same day.

Yeah. I know that. Immigration officer even sent me to speak to her boss who (of course) said the same. Only 2 times by land or sea. “Cannot go Sadao, cannot go Ranong”.

Hi! Do you know the opening hours of the border? Going there on Friday and would love to catch the last boat back to Phangan at 13:30 from Chumphon to avoid the much longer trip to Surat Thani/Don Sak.

I have my own bike (funny that you assume I don‘t?!). Regardless of that, I‘m only doing it because a friend is driving there and I prefer to have company on these horrible border runs. I would go on a short holiday if I was alone but I always prefer the company over the destination itself.

It’s 10.000b proof of funds for visa exemption. As a lot of people put bribes in their passports at Sadao border you can be almost sure they will ask you for the cash if you don’t.
