In many if not all other countries it’s normal to enter with a visa from an embassy and not as a tourist and getting a visa in the country.

As far as I know you can get a green card in the US. And you can’t get a B visa in Switzerland after entering the country either. Same for the EU.

Your Link isn’t useful. It only cites the agencies again.

That’s no proof that the standard way of getting a long term stay is blocked: NonO from embassy, enter the country, open account.

And what about doing it without an agent?

I have never used one for anything here in Thailand.

They only take your money to either bribe somebody to get what isn’t legal. Or they just ask a lot of money for little work (e.g. 3000+ for driver license 🤣)

Stocks. And because you have to ask:

Buy MSCI world ETF for 150k and only the rest in bank for emergencies.

And: open your broker account before moving! It’s way easier to prove your residence.

An eSIM is 100% the same as a SIM card.

Maybe you should read the manual of your phone to see if it does what you need.

Then I suggest getting a tourist visa, out 800k in a bank and do the retirement extension yearly.
Robert ********
6 or 9 month stay?

Non-O plus year extension like marry or retirement.

Or non-OA directly which needs a health insurance on top but starts directly for a year before extension is needed.

Just thought you might be asking and forgot the question mark.

Sorry if that was a statement.

Yes , I have a prenup.

A copy must be given to the guy at the Amphoe when you marry.

Can’t be added later as in other countries.

Then maybe the bank’s letter doesn’t state “foreign transfer “ or they really just want tea money (which is rarer lately).

Try using google translate app with camera to understand the letter.
