What are the pros and cons of the O-X Visa for expats in Thailand?

there is however a Bangkok Bank Branch in NYC. Not exactly sure how it is connected to the banks in Thailand.

Heading back in January. Might take the train up to the city and find out. If it's in a USA regulated bank, the $100k isn't a desk breaker. And I would also deposit the additional $100k as I can't get health insurance in Thailand

Up to IO. If they ever talked to her about this, it's recorded in the immigration system and she better follow their instructions.

A 60 day tourist visa is so easy to get and can be extended for 30 days. Why not just do it the right way

Nope I've never actually had to file one either. Fly home every 2.5 months

not anymore. IO have been giving some people a really hard time about doing this. Visa is cheap and easy

Every time you go thru arrival immigration you need a TDAC. It's very very easy. 5 minutes to fill out. Make sure to use the government website. You should absolutely not pay to file it .

Not correct. Always have to do a TDAC regardless of visa status or length of time out of the kingdom
