Before you decide to move in Thailand better come and experience first and see. Is not very cheap, in my opinion. Do not count on other opinion, because what is good for them maybe is not good for you. Come experience and then decide. In the mean time you can connect with people( expats) and find what you need and if it meats your expectations.
