If you take an international flight into a Scottish airport you will need to hotel quarantine. The easier way is to fly into an English airport and make your way to home in Scotland from there and then self isolate at home - and also will need to do the day 2&8 home tests.

Do Thai citizens need a negative PCR test to return to Thailand?

Fit to fly required to enter country but negative COVID test not required for Thai nationals to enter. Know about a dozen Thais returned on different airlines although mainly Thai airways, and not one has been asked to produce a COVID test.
