Did you get pre approval already? I got my pre approval within a few hours - then submitted the final docs and full approval was 2 days later.

What travel advice do expats have for entering Thailand from the UK during the red list restrictions?

The only real difference since Thailand going on UK red list is the need to hotel quarantine on return to UK. Insurance maybe an issue as could be invalid if you use a UK insurance company. I would suggest to get insurance from Thailand based company and then you will have no issues with insurances.

No requirement for fit to fly certs. Antigen tests are cheaper if they are available there and are suitable for UK entry.

no. Depending on your ticket type it’s max 25kg or max 30kg flying from UK.
