these are fledgling economies not the massive behemoth that is the USA. Picking a fight with countries like Cambodia and Laos isnt a good look. China has just hit America with retaliatory tariffs. It isn’t going too well so far .

the tariffs aren’t based on reciprocity but on a formula based on the imbalance of trade between America and other countries. It ignores the service industry where America is dominant and misses the whole point of international trade which is that countries specialize in things they are good at.
