@Stuart ********
this is 100 percent correct.

When I returned from a visit to another country the Immigration Officer questioned me, they asked how much time I wanted on the extension and warned me that I could be denied use of a Visa Exemption in the future.

I purchased an eSim today, it works.

There is lots of speculation, nothing has changed in Bangkok.

It is sad that people have been killed.

I have a trip booked from Bangkok to Phnom Penh this weekend.

IMO, there are 90 million people between the two countries, the odds of me being affected are about the same odds as me facing danger in my everyday life.

you may have a reason for staying home to take a video call, your choice.

My comment was why have a video appointment when I can go in-person and interact with more people?

My choice is to get to out and learn more.

Great questions from the group.

I have been in Bangkok 10 days. I am thinking I can take a day to visit the immigration office and ask them what I need then return with what ever I am missing.

I am retired, I have more time than money. (Not that I am broke), but it seems another way for me to learn about the culture.

Good question.

Can I get a new number via an eSim in my unlocked phone then associate that number to my Google Voice number?

Which carrier should I use to get the new eSim number in Thailand?
