 no he was not travelling on a tourist visa he entered visa exempt which he wrote very clearly

 yeah they can be quick and very slow - several days sometimes.

 yes they are longer in the weekends - at least for me. But both Remitly and Revolut are instant in the weekends and bank holidays in general.
