TLDR : Answer Summary
To transfer Thai Baht to a UK bank account when Wise isn't working, several alternatives are recommended by users. Options include using Thai banking apps from banks like Bangkok Bank or KBank for SWIFT transfers, which are suggested as being cheap and efficient. DeeMoney and Revolut also emerge as viable choices for international transfers. Users have experienced success with these methods and share their insights into the various options available.
well - first transfer to Revolut and from there to UK bank. Kind of stupid isn't it - instead of transferring directly from Thai bank to UK bank. Revolut is very good - but not for this.
Since when is Revolut best when sending baht out of Thailand on a regular basis for a person with a Thai bank account? Please tell.

I have transfered successfully from Bangkok Bank to uk using the banking app or you could go on line. It was quite cheap to do but not all banks charge the same.
Dee Money is also an option and appears to have overcome the problems they were having a few months ago but I haven't tried them since.
You can send money back to uk from your Wise account but not from a Thai bank account through them.
Still easier via for example KBanks or Bangkok Banks apps if we're talking about regular transfers. And DeeMoney's exchange rate is not better than the TT buy rate.

Why would you transfer baht to the UK? If you have a Thai bank account at for example KBank or Bangkok Bank, you can do bank to bank swift transfers using their mobile banking apps.
