I’m actually going through this process at the moment and my Visa will be submitted next week. The application I had to show I had at least £2000 in the bank and My Wife had to show she had at least 30,000 Bart in her account plus showing proof of supporting her Over the years I have been with her nine years, but this will be the first time she has ever left the country to come to the UK on a six month tourist Visa, but it’s a wait to see what happens if she gets the Visa or not hopefully I should know in the next three weeks

At the moment it is 18,600 pounds you must earn a year on 11 April this year it will go up to 29,000 then subsequently going up in the end I think to 37,000 or 38,000 pounds per year so as long as the application is done before the increase it will only have to be earning 18,600 you must show2000 pounds in your bank account along with all the other documentation that they require
