@Steve ******
is this a conspiricy theory? Just checking you still comply is making it difficult for no reason? It is only difficult when you do not comply to requirements anymore...

@Steve ******
just proving you still comply to the original requirements is not a ridiculous amount of paperwork. But a weekend or longer away is more fun.

correct, so best when you want the full stay of 180 days, to do the first 90 day report just after 90 days, using the grace period of reporting, then the next will be after your 180 days.

When you can do the sales job online from Thailand, and not sell to Thai, it should be possible.

Applying for a visa before travelling is always the best option.

You mention the exceptions, especially the people who do a visa run. How many Cambodians do you think apply for DTV? I mention just normal plain situations of remote workers having a company contract and allowance to work remotely. Normally this will not give a lot of extra questions. When you have the money and not just get it transferred to your account for the visa it does not matter if they ask for more months. And it does not really matter if it takes 2 days or 4 weeks. When you plan to travel to a country, you need to prepare, and apply for a visa is just one of the preparations.

It is indeed simple and fast as long as you comply to requirements, and just apply in your own country before you travel to Thailand. The difficulties start with the applicants using visa runs to get the visa and finding reasons to apply for the visa.
