Hey, is anyone able to help me just to make sure I have what’s needed for the DTV. I think I have everything, but just from people’s personal experiences, any tips would be amazing!
I will have (at the time of applying)
- 500,000 baht in my account for 3/4 months
- 6 months of invoices and matching bank statements
- a freelance contract (I freelance for a uk company)
- a letter stating I can work remotely and no Thai connections
- cover letters.
I will also have the usual passport/accomodation/flights etc.
In terms of preparing now, does anyone know if I need anything else? I’ll be applying in London next year.
Thanks for the help!
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is preparing to apply for a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) in Thailand and seeks advice on necessary documentation and personal experiences to ensure a complete application. They plan to present 500,000 baht in their bank account along with invoices, a freelance contract, a letter confirming remote work, and standard documents like a passport and accommodation details. Comments suggest including recent bank statements, copies of all passport pages, proof of residence (like utility bills), and a portfolio showcasing work as additional supporting documents. It's also recommended to clarify that remote work has no ties to Thai nationals or companies, and to be aware that visa applications may require recent documentation for verification.
