While I agree with you it shouldn't actually take long to submit the application, it seems people are rushing in some cases and donating 10K baht to Thailand. This is totally needless.
I had just read a post of someone losing their 10K baht for carelessness with the name inputs. Just a reminder to folks. I recommend not using an agent.
