@Robert Lagas Retired guess I would fall into the tourist category. I have no plans to permanently relocate to Thailand six month stays over the UK winter period suits me fine. It appears a METV is not a guaranteed option and the thought of putting eight hundred thousand baht into a Thai bank for non o extension purpose is of putting.
