Try ask a Thai person trying to get visa to US or EU? You are speaking form a privileged ground. It’s not hard to pick the right visa to fit the needs and qualifications. If not. Maybe it’s a better choice to stay home.
As long as you could get HR to write a letter allowing you to “work remotely in Thailand” then you qualify. Easier this route than soft power learning way.

They could request for an interview to inspect your passport and that’s exactly what happened to me. Discovered I had many in/outs. But that doesn’t affect my approval.
No concern here. I’ve run multiple times back to back before immigration counter told me I should get DTV. I did. Approved. So don’t worry get it done.
I was just been told in Singapore, they are starting to be strict in DTV and rejecting. Don't know whatever that means but with TH reducing tourist visa length. Something might be changing soon.
