Can you enter Thailand on a 30 or 60-day visa on arrival with less than six months remaining on your passport?

Passport has to be at least 6 months before entering. Pretty standard so you might want to confirm that if not risk being turned away.

Having a visa does’t grant auto entry. Immigration officer at counter still have final decision. If you want to take the risk do deal with the consequences accordingly.

Participating gyms are allowed to have DTV students. That’s what I gathered so far but not 100%. You could check with your gym for that.

They didn’t elaborate and I didn’t want to take up too much time on the queue to ask. Counter person just mentioned they are starting to reject DTV due to scammers etc. whatever that means. I guess it’s probably documentation or forging doc etc.

Yes. It’s hard when they are constantly shifting goalpost. But that’s the thing we will have to put up with if not will have to stay home or choose another country to go to.

Try ask a Thai person trying to get visa to US or EU? You are speaking form a privileged ground. It’s not hard to pick the right visa to fit the needs and qualifications. If not. Maybe it’s a better choice to stay home.
