For this who applied in Malaysia, how on earth did you get employment documents certified by the company's embassy in Malaysia? I am applying as Freelancer and currently hold two large consulting contracts, but one is from the UN (there is no such thing as a relevant embassy as it's an international organisation) and the other is from Italy who won't certify. I emailed the Italian embassy and they replied they can't do it (understandably). It makes sense that they can only certify government issued documents, not private sector stuff. So they won't certify an employment contract, as required by the Malaysian embassy.Don't know what to do 🙁 thanks for any experience sharing.

Yeah 😞 sadly my only other option in India and it seems they only accept residents DTV application.

thank you 😃 That is indeed my plan, but I am not sure what their processing times are and if it takes ages I will have to leave - I have work commitments and can’t stay there for weeks on end😞 planning for worst case scenario. Any idea of KL embassy processing times? I’ve checked their website but can’t find info 😞

This might be a stupid question but: What if I am traveling and not staying long there? Say I apply for the e-visa from Malaysia and then I fly to India. While in India I receive my DTV from Malaysia online. Can I then fly India to Thailand?

In people’s experience does the KL embassy accept that funds have been there since not long ago? Ie three weeks?
