To the best of my knowledge if the 800k is in the account 3 months prior to renewing then its ok. On the other hand, if you don't have a multiple entry visa, then the visa is null n void and you will have to start all over with the NON-A Visa 90 days n then the 1 year Retirement Visa. THAI Visa Centre very reliable n they even show the 800k for you. Online Now

I use WISE/Western Union depending on which is cheaper abd faster. I may go on a slightly higher rate coz Wise sometimes transfers in 2 biz dates n WU in few mins/hrs do a $ or so more doesn't matter
I did mine from NON-O n 5 years Retirement Visa renewed every year without even visiting immigration. They say 2 weeks but usually done in 2-4 days in my case. Totally hassle free
To the best of my knowledge, Thailand allows only two land border crossing/per year, the rest has to be by air. Some have made more land crossings from various borders but some rejected or spent a long time with questioning. So better to be safe than sorry
I did mine from NON-O till Retirement for 5 years through an agent. Never had any hassles and proved prudent when Covid struck a month after my first Retiremen visa was made.
