If you go through the immigration gate before midnight, you will have officially "left" Thailand and been stamped out on the 21st, even though you won't physically leave until the 22nd.

I recently flew to Krabi via Bangkok from the UK. It was one booking, my bag went straight onto Krabi, but I cleared immigration in BKK.

I got an ED visa in Khota Bharu last year in June. I had a 2

year history in thaiand on primarily non-b visas (with extensions at the local immigration with my WP). I also had one tourist visa (first arrival into Thailand) and a few visa exempt stamps.

I didn't personally have any issue getting my ED visa from KB, but then this was over 6 months ago so it could be stricter now. I knew they're a lot stricter when it comes to the second ED visa.

I agree and so does she, it's just been a series of unfortunate circumstances with the current school being unpleasant and a new job opportunity arising that is too good for her to pass up. She has reccomended someone avaliable to replace her pretty much immediately which still isn't ideal but the school is.. Well. Making threats.

She does have a work permit but has not yet extended her visa using it.

I’m currently on an education visa and have never been asked to show any money. I got my visa from Kota Bharu in June, flew into Thailand via Krabi Airport.
