60 on arrival plus 30 day extension then I recommend fly in fly out to a local country and that will give you 60 days on arrival again. Only cost would be return flight, accommodation in the location you fly to and the immigration fee or alternative option is just to maximise your 60 days on arrival and fly in fly out to get the new 60 days in arrival and you would save on the 3o day extension fee at thai immigration

Thanks Tony, really appreciate you responding. I was wondering did the word, "remote" need to be in any of the documents you supplied for DTV? I have my contract that states offshore on a set rotation but no wording with, "remote".

I've been travelling on visa exempt for 13 years and some years in Thailand 7 times in one year and minimum 3 times in one year with no problems. I'll be going again in March and was there January and February this year also with no issues

If you apply whilst in Thailand, it'll be picked up when leaving Thailand. You can apply from any country outside Thailand also.
