TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion centers around finding reliable agents for obtaining a DTV visa and setting up a bank account at Kasikorn Bank in Thailand. Participants shared experiences with various immigration service providers like Baan Thai Immigration Solutions and TVC, noting challenges in opening bank accounts for individuals without long-stay visas. Some commented on the legal requirements for DTV visa applications, emphasizing that they need to be processed from outside Thailand. There's a consensus that the process for securing a bank account has become increasingly difficult, with mentions of regulations preventing easy access for foreign nationals.

No agents for DTV since you need to actualy be outside of Thailand, and stay in the application country until approved.

And supporting corruption, is never a good idea.

DTV is not and has never been eligable for a Thai bankaccount, and now the loopholes has been closed completely.

You need to do a much better research, and learn to be truthful and do things the right way.

There are multiple reasons why one may wish to use an agency for DTV visa.

Some are listed here:

We still offer bank account opening services to DTV clients.

You are referring to Pattaya specific news.

You won't be getting bank account anytime soon they changed up the regulations

No agent will even attempt to open a bank account now as of last week.

And you can literally do your own visa application in 10 minutes why would you pay an agent to do it.

It's so easy a 10 year old could do it

Right now it is extremely difficult to open a bank account for people without a longstay visa in Thailand even if you hire an agent. People with long-stay also have problems
