Call the UKVI. They charge you for the call but they should be able to answer your question.

thanks Tony, I can see the reasoning behind this too. Ultimately I'm going to have to go in there and find out from my immigration office what the best option will be. Thanks for your input mate.

thanks mate, that's exactly what my thinking has been. I was also worried that me leaving might be flagged up in the system and then it's all been for nothing. But also reading other posts it seems like ultimately it might be up to the officers discretion on the process. Best thing will be to contact the immigration and confirm my options. Thanks mate.

Graham Seal thanks for the reply. I've got a re-entry permit. This trip to leave Thailand has come up unexpectedly and would like to know if I have to cancel/ abandon the whole Visa Extension or is it ok as I'm leaving and coming back in on the Re Entry Permit before I would have to report back to the Immigration to get the extension stamped in it. I will definitely pop into the immigration office to make 100 percent sure if it can or cant be done. Would like to see if anyone's been or had a similar situation as I'll only be able to pop into the immigration office next week Wednesday to ask. Cheers mate.

They offer fast track and car service. Can pay via bank transfer/ mobile banking. They meet you at your gate, take you all the way though immigration and to your waiting car. Friendly and fast.
