No, haven't heard anything. You probably mean Japanese nationals not successful at the embassy/consulates in Japan though. It's possible, but then it's not Japanese nationals being targeted, just the embassy/consulates being picky.

Where were you located on June 27th? What happened since then? Were you in Thailand by any chance and then exited between June 27th and June 30th?
