No, haven't heard anything. You probably mean Japanese nationals not successful at the embassy/consulates in Japan though. It's possible, but then it's not Japanese nationals being targeted, just the embassy/consulates being picky.

Where were you located on June 27th? What happened since then? Were you in Thailand by any chance and then exited between June 27th and June 30th?

We've never had such a case here. Contact them. Maybe someone made a mistake, hopefully it's the rejection that was made mistakenly.

Does immigration ask for bank statements to prove 500k Baht during DTV reentry?
