Yes, it does seem a pain., luckily, I also never had to do one in BKK. Hopefully the process is streamlined in the near future. This is a good example of where an agent is useful.

Anonymous participant 558 NYC accepts brokerage accounts, i cannot recall the others. Have a search in the threads, posts should be there. You can email the embassy you are applying from regarding your instant cash availability within an investment account being used.

Majority of embassies do not accept a share portfolio for the 500k, a few in the USA do. The 500k in a personal account is overwhelmingly required.
